(2023/2024) I hear you roar of a life that is forever
Prints, knitting and weaving inspired by a story of a person being transformed into a water spirit by a lightning bolt and a lake. All pieces are hand-woven and -knitted from raffia and deadstock yarn and printed on with original photographic material as well as exposed screen-printing.















(2022) Your oyster is your world
Prints based on a story of a Victorian woman who decides to live in her oyster aquarium.
Exposed and stencil screen-printing on deadstock linen and cotton, with hand-painted elements.



(2023) ‘The Lightning, The Lake, The Sky and the Snake’
Prints inspired by Finnish mythology of forest and water spirits. Open-screen printing, with and without stencils, around eight to ten meters of deadstock linen, worked on as a giant screen-printing sketchbook.







(2022) For Aino- From Aino
Prints inspired by childhood memories of Finland and love letters from Lilla’s Great-Great-Grandmother. Printed on cotton Rijiy backing-cloth with stencil screen-printing.

(2021) Floe
Prints and knits for ‘Floe’, a project reflecting on the idea of the world freezing over and humanity having to adapt to new circumstances, initially inspired by a text passage from ‘Orlando’ written by Virginia Woolf. Three colourway exposed screen-print and stencil open screen-print with hand-embroidery on deadstock cotton and stencil screen-printed knit with puff-binder.








(2021) The Egg
Prints inspired by the Finnish mythology of the beginning of the world, where the air spirit Ilmatar descends from the heavens into the ocean and witnesses the birth of the world. Stencils and open screen mixed with exposed screen-printing.







(2020) Her Garbage had lied to me
Prints inspired by a short story from ‘Revenge of the Lawn’ by Richard Brautigan. Open screen and stencil screen prints on deadstock linen tablecloths.
